Populus Proud to Support The Teesside Charity at Annual Ball

Co-founders Sim and Elaine Hall join BC&T Consultants to back a charity close to home

Populus Select co-founders Sim and Elaine Hall represented the business at The Teesside Charity Annual Ball on Friday 2nd October, as guests of BC&T Consultants Ltd.

The ball is one of the high points of the charity's year. It brings together businesses, families and community leaders from across the region to raise money that goes straight back into Teesside. This years ball raised a record £89,000 and every pound helps local people and causes that might otherwise go without.

For Populus, being there meant something. The firm was founded on Teesside in 2007 and still calls it home, even as its recruitment work now spans defence, construction, chemicals, power, life sciences and emerging technologies around the world. Staying connected to the community that shaped the business matters to the people who run it.

"A good excuse to get suited and booted, and what better cause to do it for," said Sim Hall, co-founder of Populus Select. "The Teesside Charity does incredible work across our region, quietly and without fuss, and it means a lot to us. As proud Teessiders, it was great to see so many familiar faces in one room, all pulling in the same direction."

Sim and Elaine thanked the BC&T Consultants team, including Joe Melville, Lisa Bennett, Dan Brady, David Kelly together with Matthew Walton and Diane Smith, for their company on the night. They also thanked Lisa for organising the evening and for the kind invitation, and Jess and Mae from Social Allies for capturing the occasion on camera.
