Ports & Maritime Business Development Manager (UK)


Our Client is an engineering group with a worldwide footprint that specialises in power transmission, distribution and control technologies that enable their clients to operate in harshest of environments within the Ports & Maritime Industry.


The successful Candidate will be responsible for sales of the Group's innovative electrical power and control products for mobile equipment in the, ports and maritime sectors.  The Business has a well-developed sales network for a range of products including, motor driven cable reels, automated mooring, marine power, hose reels, power connectors, radio remote control units, crane seat, cabin systems, specialised systems of steel and nylon chains and slip rings.


The role carries a high level of responsibility for achieving the business objective of excellent customer service and revenue growth at the agreed contribution margin for the allocated industry.  Working closely with the internal sales team in delivering timely and accurate offers and closing opportunities. Assisting other group companies with development strategies and mentoring key persons within the Business to improve technical and market knowledge. Electronic engineering experience, PLC or similar to HNC level preferred.
